    Product design

    A prediction-markets app where people back a view with a stake. Events read as plain questions with “I believe” and “I doubt” instead of order books, a keypad sets the stake, odds update live, and a card lets you share your call.

    As Head of Product & Design and the company’s only product designer, I designed the whole product with the founder and engineers: the portfolio across chains, Explore Opportunity, the Scanner, Shield and IL Calculator, the audit and REKT databases, Swap, the iPhone app, and the logo and identity.     AGORA

    Head of Product Design

    Founding product designer for a London startup, working from Paris. I shaped the product from its early stages and mentored its designers and product managers: a beauty app built on honest video reviews, where people shop the products they see and earn free ones. It soft-launched in April 2020 and launched in December 2020 with £5 million in seed funding, on a model taken from Asian social commerce such as Little Red Book.

    Hyperlens

    Founder

    An augmented-reality venture: the city as an interface, with a wallet one tap from the camera. I conceived and designed it and took it to a working prototype; I hired ONY to help render and visualise my product and design, and worked closely with them. It didn’t launch: development stopped when the funding ended. Read the case.

    Waves Platform

    Director of Product

    Set product and design direction for the Waves Client, which joined a wallet, a decentralised exchange and token creation in one app for people who had never used a command line, a year before Uniswap. Launched its beta, the redesigned exchange and the rebrand in December 2017; during the beta 330,000 wallets were active. Directed the identity ONY designed. Read the case.

    MySky

    Product design

    Operations software for private aircraft: one timeline for flights, fuel, maintenance, crew and paperwork, and monthly metrics on hours flown and costs, so an owner can see what the aircraft is doing and what it costs.

    UMSTEL

    Head of Product

    I personally designed the complete trading terminal, later StocksTrader, across desktop and mobile: financial data, navigation, trade workflows and the visual system, and TradingIdea, where traders publish and discuss ideas. UMSTEL was built for the browser first; from October 2016 it powered RoboForex’s stock trading, with more than 8,000 stocks and ETFs.

    Built the design team and a shared design system for a service used by about 1.2 million people a month, and shipped its first iOS, Android and Windows apps.

    Set up and managed the design team across the company’s services. A new service launch lifted conversion by about 29%.

    Senior Designer

    Credited as designer and interface developer on the Ozon.Travel booking flow (2012), which went from six steps to four. The studio reports 20% more people continuing past step three. Also credited on Tinkoff Credit Systems’ site templates (2011) and Collectionerus, and designed for Yandex, Yandex.Money and CIAN.

    Gave the studio’s seminar on interaction design, and a seminar on interface design at Kaspersky Lab’s Moscow headquarters in 2011.
